The Shorthill Ramblers

The Shorthill Ramblers will be providing our entertainment Friday night after our keynote address. The band, consists of Danny Dalton on the banjo, Jim Carter on the guitar, Ed Taylor on the fiddle, and Igeary Pearcy on the "Doghouse Bass". The band was first established in the early 50's and after a short period of being in limbo due to military service and family responsibilities, reorganized in the early 70's. The band has been pickin'-n'grinnin since then. Although some of the band members have changed over the years, the music has remained "Traditional Country and Bluegrass.

The Has Beens

The Has Beens will be providing our entertainment after the Saturday night keynote speech. The 20 member ensemble plays Big Band music made popular by bands such as The Tommy Dorsey Band and The Benny Goodman Band. They are a nonprofit group founded in 1981 and play for the love of music. All profits are donated to charity.
